The Lawrence Unit 20 Board of Education will meet in a special session early next week. Unit 20 officials informing WAKO that the session is scheduled for Monday the 19th at 10 a.m. in the office of Superintendent Doug Daughtery. The board will consider the adoption of the district 2019-20 amended budget and set a hearing for the budget on September 18th. If approved it would be placed on public display until that September date.
