The Parkview Baseball Braves made a successful debut Thursday as they won their home opening game of the season 12-2 in 6 innings over visiting Cumberland. A.J. Lawson led the way with three hits including a triple while Landon Sanders, Bryant Jenkins, Wade Miller, Jayden Goff, and Maddox Pargin all had hits.  Sanders picked up the pitching win in relief going 3 innings allowing no runs on 1 hit with 7 strikeouts. Jenkins started and went 2 innings allowing 2 runs with 1 hit and 4 strikeouts. The next action for the Braves in on Tuesday when they host Casey at Unit 20 Ballpark.
