LADY SOFTBALL BRAVES DROP SEASON OPENER

The Parkview Lady Softball Braves lost their season opener on the road Monday. They were beaten by Paris Mayo 6-4 at Paris. Paris Mayo scored their 6 runs on 6 hits with no errors while the Lady Braves scored 4 runs on 6 hits and committed 1 error. Addy Brush had 2 hits and drove in a run for Parkview, Alyssa Griggs had 1 hit and a RBI and Abby Taylor, Addeline Sanders, and Kourtney Sholders each had a hit. Brush took the pitching loss going 6 innings allowing 6 runs on 6 hits 5 earned with 2 walks and 9 strikeouts. The Lady Braves are scheduled for their home opener Tuesday afternoon against Newton at Phil Alsman Field In Lawrenceville weather and field conditions permitting.
