Local law enforcement is gearing up for the start of school in Lawrence County next week. Authorities will be patrolling school zones and looking for violations such as speeding and distracted driving in those areas. They will also be cracking down to make sure people stop when a school bus is stopped with it’s stop arm out to let children on or off. Laws have been stiffened in regard to those type violations.
