TWO SENTENCED TO PRISON IN LCCC

Two people were sentenced to prison terms this week in Lawrence County Circuit Court. States Attorney Michael Strange announced that 35 year old Cameron Jones of Bridgeport plead guilty to Unlawful Possession of Weapons by a Felon a Class 2 Illinois felony. He was given 54 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections to be followed by 2 years of mandatory supervised release. He also must pay all assessments. Strange also announced that 36 year old Pierre Jordan of Pontiac Illinois pled guilty to Aggravated Battery a Class 2 Illinois felony. He was given 3 years in the DOC with 2 years of mandatory supervised release.
