The Knox County Indiana Commissioners have approved an interim 911 director. Robert McMullen was named to the position this week. He comes with over 20 years of 911 directorship experience from Parke and Vigo Counties in Indiana. He replaces Debbie Schmidtknecht in that position after she served for close to nine years with that department. A search will continue for a permanent 911 director.
