The Knox County Indiana Chamber of Commerce will host the two day Watermelon Festival in downtown Vincennes. It will be Friday and Saturday on Partick Henry Square. The festival is held annually to celebrate Knox County agriculture and its watermelon production. The festival features plenty of family friendly activity with entertainment, a baby contest, beauty pageant, pet contest, games, food and refreshment booths, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament and a watermelon seed spitting contest. The festivals gets underway Friday at 5 p.m. Eastern Time and continues Saturday at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.
