17 year old Delaney Maxfield of Bridgeport is the 2019 Miss Lawrence County Fair Queen. She was selected from among seven contestants vying for the crown at the annual pageant held Saturday evening in the main building of the 4-H fairgrounds located on US 50 between Bridgeport and Sumner. She is the daughter of Scott and the late Kim Maxfield. Picked as 2019 Junior Miss Lawrence County was 12 year old Makinzie Gaither of Sumner. She is the daughter of Ben and Samantha Gaither. The 2019 Little Miss Lawrence County is 8 year old Emma Jo Arbuckle. She is the daughter of Brandon and Staci deWeese. All three young ladies will reign over the remainder of the Lawrence County Junior and 4-H Fair this week. The Monday events at the fair include the Kiddie Pedal tractor Pull at 6 p.m. in the main building, the Truck Pulls are in the grandstand at 7 p.m. and the Junior Fair Youth Horse Show is at 7:30 p.m. at the Horse Arena. Admission to the grandstand is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
