Ben Gamel hit a go-ahead two run single in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Milwaukee Brewers rallied from behind to beat the Chicago Cubs 3-2 Friday night in game one of their three game series at Miller Park. David Bote had given the Cubs a 2-0 lead with his 10th homer of the season with a man on in the top of the sixth but the Cub bullpen could not hold it. Christian Yelich had an RBI hit in the bottom of the seventh to draw  Milwaukee to within one before Gamel delivered the game winning hit off reliever Pedro Strop.  Josh Hader closed out the game with his 23rd save. The Cubs had held at least a share of first place in the NL Central since July 4th but with the loss they drop one game behind the surging St Louis Cardinals and only a game ahead of the Brewers for second place. Game two is Saturday night pitting Jon Lester (9-6) against Chase Anderson (5-2). Hear all the action on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame at 5:35 Central Time 6:35 Eastern.
