Three units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District along with the Bridgeport Fire Department were called out Wednesday evening to a residential house fire in Lawrenceville. Firefighters were dispatched at 8:45 p.m. to the fire location-the 306 Lexington Avenue home of Leia Wheeler. The home owned by Dave Lane of Lawrenceville caught fire after a gas line failure. The blaze caused an estimated $2000 in damage. There were no reported injuries.
