The Red Hill Unit 10 Board of Education heard about preparations for the new school years during its regular monthly meeting Thursday. Inspections are currently being completed on the district’s fleet of buses with 2 new buses expected to arrive before school begins in August. Superintendent Jakie Walker also indicated that the district is part of the Skyware management system for online student registration which is new for the district. Parents and students can visit the Unit 10 district website facebook page for complete information on the process. The district-wide registration is August 5th. The board did approve the replacement of a commercial water heater at Red Hill Junior/Senior High School and a memorandum of understanding with the bus drivers’ union.
