Three local baseball players have been picked to represent the Great Lakes Region at the upcoming USSSA All-American Games in Florida later this month. Marcus Davis and Carter Davis both of Sumner along with Jayden Thacker of Vincennes were among the 25 players picked for the 10U Great Lakes Region team from tryouts that included participants from six states. Those selected were judged on the basis of their hitting, running, throwing, fielding, pitching, and catching. Those players picked to their regional teams will compete against other regional teams from across the country at the USSSA All-American games July 28th through August 3rd at the Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida
