Lite 103 has been informed that the Sumner fireworks scheduled for Thursday evening have been postponed. They were postponed due to a forecast of inclement weather. The Sumner fireworks have been rescheduled for Friday July 12th at 9 p.m. Central Time at the city park. The annual Vincennes Independence Day parade and fireworks is still on for Thursday evening. The parade is set to step off through the downtown city streets at 6 p.m. Eastern Time with the fireworks over the Wabash River to begin at dusk. A reminder that the Lincoln Memorial Bridge over the Wabash River between Westport and Vincennes will be closed to vehicular traffic Thursday from 6 Eastern Time until midnight Eastern Time for the fireworks display.
