Jung Ho Kang scored on Corey Dickerson’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning to cap a two run rally and lift the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 6-5 win over the Chicago Cubs Wednesday night. The Cubs turned over a one run lead to new closer Craig Kimbrell but he could not hold it. Josh Bell remained hot for the Pirates with his 26th homer of the season and a double and Starling Marte added three hits as the Buccos won their third in a row in the four game series. Victor Caratini of the Cubs homered from both sides of the plate and Javier Baez blasted his 22nd homer of the year for the visitors but that did not prevent the Cubs from suffering their fourth straight loss. They will attempt to avoid a series sweep Thursday afternoon at PNC Park. Jose Quintana (5-7) will pitch for Chicago while Jordan Lyles (5-4) is set for Pittsburgh.
