Eugenio Suarez blasted a mammoth three run home run off Cub starter Jon Lester in the bottom of the first inning to set the tone for a wild day at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati Sunday and lead the Reds to a 8-6 win over the Cubs  in the final game of their three game series. The hosts ended up taking two of the three. Phillip Ervin and Nick Senzel each drove in two runs to back the solid pitching of Anthony DeSclafani who went six scoreless innings. Raisel Iglesias escaped with a six out save despite allowing Jason Heyward’s three run homer in the top of the ninth. Kyle Schwarber also went deep for the Cubs but it was not enough. The Cubs are in Pittsburgh Monday to start a series against the Pirates. Rookie Adbert Alzolay (1-0) will go for the Cubs and Trevor Williams (2-2) for the Buccos.
