Indiana State Police say a married couple from Freelandville was killed in a two-vehicle crash north of Bicknell Wednesday afternoon. . The accident happened on State Road 159 near Oaktown Road north of Bicknell at around 4:30 pm eastern. State Police say 71 year-old John Buck was driving his 2002 Jeep northbound on State Road 159. 27 year-old Joshua Roark of Vincennes was southbound on State Road 159 when for unknown reasons, troopers claim he crossed the center line, and struck the vehicle driven by Buck head-on. Buck and his wife, 71 year-old Rita Buck, died at the scene of the crash. Roark suffered severe injuries from the accident; he was airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville with serious injuries. Police said State Road 159 was closed for about three hours while the crash was being investigated.
