Mt. Carmel man was sentenced to 6 years in prison on a Class X Felony charge of delivery of a controlled substance. Wabash County State’s Attorney Cassandra Goldman said 25 year-old Brandon Reed was charged in connection to an incident last August in which he delivered between 100 and 400 grams of a substance containing hydrocodone to a Mt. Carmel Police Department confidential source. Reed’s term in the Department of Corrections will be followed by three years of parole.
