The Lawrence County Memorial Hospital Board had their annual re-organizational dinner meeting Tuesday evening. Carl Aten was re-elected as Board Chairman. Ron Waldrop was re-elected as Vice-Chairman. Becky Nestleroad was re-elected as Secretary and Kevin Strange was re-elected Treasurer. Jared Florence and Dr. James R. Porter with Deaconess Illinois were also welcomed as new board members. During the meeting, the board approved a five percent price increase to be implemented in the Fiscal Year 2020 budget. A budget document with the increase will be presented to the board’s Finance Committee on June 26th. Formal approval is expected at the July board meeting.
