Cheryl L. Ammon, age 56, of Saint Francisville, IL passed away Saturday June 1, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1963 in Lawrence County, IL the daughter of Leon and Patricia (Newlin) Adams. On July 3, 1981 she married Dennis Ammon, and he survives.
Cheryl was a Beautician and ran her Beauty Shop out of her home. She worked for Agri Gold and sold seed corn, and also worked for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department as Administrative Assistant. She had attended the Free Methodist Church in Saint Francisville, IL. She enjoyed going to the beach, crafts, gardening, bird watching and animals.
Along with her husband Dennis, she is survived by her mother: Patricia Adams of St. Francisville, IL, a son: Charles Ammon of Saint Francisville, IL, a daughter: Tamara Ammon of Saint Francisville, IL, a brother: Russell Adams and his wife Karen of Sumner, IL, three grandchildren: Megan Ammon, Lilly Catt, and Ava Ammon, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father: Leon Adams, and a brother: John Robert Adams.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00am at the Free Methodist Church in Saint Francisville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 until the service hour of 11:00am at the church. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Saint Francisville, IL.
Memorial donations may be given to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
