Alex Bregman hit two home runs, the second a tiebreaking two run shot in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead the Houston Astros to a 9-6 interleague win Tuesday night over the Chicago Cubs at MinuteMaid Park. Bregman is now tied for the American League lead with 17 homers. He connected in the third inning off Cub starter and loser Jon Lester and off reliever Brad Brach in the sixth. The Cubs hit 5 homers on the night with David Bote getting two but it was not enough. The Cubs try to avoid a sweep of the series and their fourth loss in a row Wednesday night when they send Kyle Hendricks (4-4) to the mound against Wade Miley (5-2) for the Astros.
