A single-vehicle accident occurred in Lawrence County Monday afternoon. Charles Wagner of Springfield, Illinois was driving a freightliner truck east on US 50 when the truck had a mechanical issue and locked up. Wagner lost control and the truck then jackknifed before coming to rest. Wagner was not injured. The truck, owned by P & S Transportation out of Wichita Falls, Texas, had to be towed from the scene.
