Confirmed tornado touchdown in Clay County, Illinois

 The National Weather Service in Lincoln has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Clay County, Illinois Thursday morning. An estimated EF0 tornado with 60 mph touched down in Xenia around 8:15 a.m. The brief tornado was less than a mile long and had a narrow width. The tornado downed a few trees and large limbs in rural area near Alder Road. The tornado was confirmed by an EMA survey and a video of the tornado.
