Yaseil Puig singled with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning Wednesday night to rally the Cincinnati Reds to a 6-5 win over the Chicago Cubs at the Great American Ballpark. Eugenio Suarez hit a two run homer in the bottom of the 8th inning to tie the game at 5 setting up Puig’s heroics. Addison Russell had blasted a 2 run homer to give the Cubs a 5-3 lead. Brad Brach (3-1) took the loss in relief. Amir Garrett (3-1) picked up the win for the Reds in relief. The rubber game of the series is Thursday night as Jose Quintana (4-2) goes for the Cubs against Luis Castillo (4-1) for the Reds.
