Red Hill Lady Saluki hurdler Katie Moore is on her way to the Illinois Class A State Girls Track Meet in Charleston. The sophomore qualified in two events Thursday at the Newton Sectional meet. Moore won the 100 meter high hurdles in a time of 15.98 and was second in the 300 intermediate hurdles in 48.14. She will compete in those two events at state. Teutopolis won the team championship with 111 points followed by Newton with 91, Robinson was third with 65 and Toledo Cumberland fourth with 42. The Lady Salukis finished seventh in the team standings with 26 points and the Lawrenceville Lady Indians were fourteenth with 11 points in the fifteen team field.
