Keegan Meek laced a two out single in the bottom of the 8th inning Wednesday night to score Connor O’Dell who had tripled and hand the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians a thrilling 5-4 win over the South Knox Spartans at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville. The win capped Senior Night for the Tribe who honored four seniors prior to the game. O’Dell who is a senior was outstanding at the plate with 4 hits in 5 at bats including a homer. Ethan Kelly picked up the win in relief of starter Anthony Jerrell. The win moves the Indians to 8-12 on the season. They are scheduled to finish up the regular season Thursday with a county battle at the Tank Farm at Bridgeport against the Red Hill Salukis.
