BASEBALL INDIANS DROP RESCHEDULED LIC GAME

The Lawrenceville Baseball Indians lost a rescheduled Little Illini Conference game Friday at Newton to the Eagles 9-3. The hosts scored 9 runs on only 5 hits and made 5 errors but were able to win. The Indians scored 3 times on 4 hits and made only 1 error. Connor O’Dell had two of the Tribes hits and drove in a run. Eli Ivers drove in a run and Cale Powell and Corey Carrell each had hits. Ivers took the loss on the hill going three innings. With the loss, the Indians drop to 6-12 on the season and will next see action Monday at Paris in conference play.
