The win was a season high fifth in a row for Arizona. Kris Bryant and Javier Baez homered for the Cubs and Albert Almora Jr had four hits but it was not enough for a win. The hosts jumped on Cub starter and loser Kyle Hendricks (1-4) for three runs in the bottom of the first enroute to the victory.
