A top Lawrenceville Indian track athlete has signed a letter of intent to continue his pole vaulting career with the Vincennes University Track and Field Trailblazers. Cole Sumner is one of the top pole vaulters in the state. The senior has qualified for and competed in the event on the state level for both Parkview Junior High School and Lawrenceville High School. He was a third place finisher this past season in the pole vault at the IHSA finals in Charleston for the Indians.
