David Bote hit a walk off single in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday at Wrigley Field giving the Chicago Cubs a 2-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Jarod Dyson of the D-backs had homered in the top of the ninth to tie the contest at one. Pedro Strop picked up the win in relief for the Cubs. Cub starter Tyler Chatwood had no decision as he went six innings allowing no runs on only two hits. The Cubs are idle Monday and will open up a three game series Tuesday night at Wrigley Field against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
