Fire destroyed a truck in Lawrenceville Wednesday afternoon. Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District were called out to 19th and State streets where they found a 1996 Dodge pickup truck had caught on fire. There were no injuries reported. The truck, owned by Melanie Polston, was deemed a total loss. The cause of the fire was determined to be mechanical in nature.
