BASEBALL INDIANS EDGED IN EXTRA INNINGS AT CASEY

The Lawrenceville Baseball Indians were edged Monday by the Casey Warriors at Casey 3-2 in 9 innings. The Warriors scored their 3 runs on only 4 hits with no errors while the Indians scored 2 runs on 8 hits and committed 3 errors. Eli Ivers was the losing pitcher. Christian Beamon had 2 hits and drove in a run while Anthony Jerrell drove in the other run and had a hit. Conner O’Dell also had two hits and Corey Carrell, Ethan Kelly, and Cale Powell each had hits. The loss snaps a three game winning streak and leaves the Indians at 4-7. They will step out of conference Wednesday hosting Mt Carmel at Unit 20 Ballpark.
