A single-vehicle accident occurred in eastern Lawrence County Sunday afternoon. Bryce Vaughn of Vincennes was driving east on Illinois Route 33 near the US 50 entrance when his vehicle hydroplaned on some standing water. The vehicle then left the roadway and ran into a signpost before coming to rest in the median. Vaughn was not injured. His vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
