Both the Lawrenceville Lady Indian and Red Hill Lady Saluki track teams were in the field Friday for the 23rd annual Sam Bennett Invitational Track and Field Meet at Robinson. The meet is one of the top girls meets in the state. Teutopolis won with 101.5 points followed by Newton with 89. Shelbyville tied with host Robinson for third with 61.5 points and Olney was fifth. The Lady Salukis were seventh in the team standings with 33 and the Lady Indians were fourteenth with 8 points. Both teams will be involved in a multi-team boys and girls meet Monday at Red Hill Junior-Senior High School in Bridgeport.
