BASEBALL INDIANS WIN ON THE ROAD

The Lawrenceville Baseball Indians got back on the winning track Monday with a road win at Marshall. The Tribe picked up a 6-3 decision to stop a three game losing skid. They plated 6 runs on 7 hits and made only 1 error while the host Lions scored three times on 10 hits and committed 3 errors. Logan Angle and Anthony Jerrell each drove in 2 runs and Corey Carrell added 2 hits in the victory. Eli Ivers pitched 5 innings for the win with solid relief help from Ethan Kelly. The Indians are now 2-6 and will host Hutsonville Tuesday at Unit 20 Ballpark.
