BASEBALL INDIANS SHUT OUT AT CUMBERLAND

The Lawrenceville Baseball Indians dropped their third straight game Friday when they were blanked by the Cumberland Pirates 9-0 at Cumberland. The Pirates scored 9 runs on 5 hits and made an error while the Tribe were shut out on 5 hits and made 4 errors. Cale Powell took the pitching loss. Connor O’Dell had two of the 5 Indian hits with Anthony Jerrell, Corey Carrell, and Brenyn Winningham getting the others. The Indians fall to 1-6 on the season and are scheduled to play Oblong at Unit 20 Ballpark Saturday at 10 a.m.
