A single-vehicle accident occurred in Lawrence County Saturday evening. Miranda Puckett of Vincennes was driving west on US 50 east of Lawrenceville in Allison Township when she hydroplaned after hitting some water on the roadway. The vehicle left the south side of the road and and into a tree/shrub embankment. Puckett was not hurt. Her vehicle had to be towed from the scene. Puckett was cited by Lawrence County authorities for driving without a valid license and driving without insurance.
