A Sullivan man was arrested following a police pursuit in Sullivan County. 44-year-old Troy Kemper refused to pull over for an Indiana State Trooper on US 41. Kemper drove into a yard and struck a tree on County Road 105. Kemper then reportedly fled into the woods, dropping several items along the way. Kemper finally surrendered and was taken into custody. Police say they found 12 grams of methamphetamine, 130 syringes, and 22 controlled substance pills. Kemper was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Manufacturing/Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Resisting Law Enforcement, Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Driving While Suspended Prior and Reckless Driving.
