Fire destroyed a vehicle in Lawrence County Thursday evening. Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection Ditrict were called out to County Road 800 North about a mile-and-a-half from Route 33 near Westport. A 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD pickup truck owned by Quentin Ayers of Vincennes had caught on fire. The truck was deemed a total loss. There were no injuries reported. Officials say the cause of the fire was electrical in nature.
