The Vincennes Redevelopment Commission met in regular session Thursday morning. The Commission heard an update on Phase One of the Main Street project from Vincennes City Engineer John Sprague. Sprague says work on the Main Street bridge will continue for the next couple of weeks, with pouring of the second bridge abutment planned for today. After the bridge is done, work will begin on the road bed and stabilization of the road’s cement sub-grade. Main Street is reportedly still on schedule to open by the start of the next school year in August.
