The Red Hill Baseball Salukis got off to a winning start to the 2019 season Saturday. They took both games of a doubleheader at the Tank Farm in Bridgeport by scores of 4-1 and 11-1 (5 innings). In the first game, the Salukis recieved outstanding pitching from starter Landen Ray who threw a complete game. He gave up 1 run on three hits, walked none and struck out 15 Blue Streak batters. The Salukis won the nitecap behind a strong offense. The wins were the first for new Saluki head coach Steve Killion. The Salukis are right back at it Monday when they head to Mt Carmel.
