INDIANS DROP BASEBALL OPENER LATE AT FLORA

It was a tough day Friday for the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians. The Tribe dropped their season opener on the road at Flora 5-4. The host Wolves won the game by pushing across 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th to erase a 4-2 Indian lead. Flora  scored 5 runs on only four hits and made one error while the Indians scored their 4 runs on 11 hits but committed four errors. Both Christian Beamon and Eli Ivers had three hits for the 0-1 Indians. They will play again on Tuesday when they host the Marshall Lions in the home opener at Unit 20 Ballpark.
