The Red Hill Unit 10 & Lawrenceville Unit 20 School Boards both met Thursday evening. The Unit 10 School Board discussed the search for a new assistant transportation director to replace Tom Widener after nine years of service. The position will be re-posted for new applicants. The board also approved $5,350 worth of work to be done by Thomas Refrigeration of Vincennes to the roof of the Bridgeport Grade School’s walk-in cooler/freezer.
The Unit 20 School Board approved the seeking of bids for full-size gas or diesel buses for the 2019-2020 school year with an update on the proceedings coming in April. Superintendent Doug Daugherty also updated the board on the ongoing Parkside Elementary roof project.
