Indiana State Police arrested two Lawrenceville men Wednesday night following a traffic stop in Vincennes. State Police stopped a vehicle occupied by 27 year-old John Koonce and 41 year-old Michael Vinsel on Washington Avenue at Emison Avenue. Koonce was found wanted on two Illinois warrants. He was also charged with false informing and visiting a common nuisance. A search led to the discovery of over 25 grams of a controlled substance in Vinsel’s possession. Vinsel was charged with dealing in a controlled substance. Koonce was taken to the Knox County Jail, pending his return to Illinois to face his warrants. Vinsel was also taken to the Knox County Jail.
