The Lawrence County Board met in regular session Wednesday afternoon. The County Board approved a bid of approximately $72,840 submitted by Vandevanter Engineering out of Decatur for upgrade work to be completed at the wastewater treatment plant near the Lawrence County Correctional Center. The board also approved the 2019 highway maintenance resolution of $350,000 for motor fuel tax money in the 2019 fiscal year.
