A Lawrenceville woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident on the eastern edge of Lawrenceville Thursday morning. Vehicles driven by Danny Smith of Washington and Anna Summers of Lawrenceville collided on State Street just east of Third Street when Smith attempted a U-turn in the path of Summers’ vehicle. Summers was injured and taken by ambulance to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Smith was not injured. Three passengers in Summers’ vehicle also escaped injury.
