Kevin C. Sibert, Sr., age 52 of Allendale, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 18, 2019. He was born August 17, 1966 in Mt. Carmel to John W. Sibert and his wife Linda J. (Saltsgaver) Sibert.
On August 8, 1992, Kevin married Debbie Lunsford in Savannah, GA.
Kevin worked as an oil field hand and also as a Boilermaker out of the Local 374. He was a big race fan. He liked NASCAR and going to the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt. He also enjoyed music, spending time with his family, playing cards, and loved tinkering as an auto mechanic. Kevin’s buddy was his dog, Bo.
Surviving family includes: his wife of twenty-six years- Debbie (Lunsford) Sibert of Allendale: two daughters- Candice Darnold and husband Travis of Mt. Carmel and Amanda Sibert and fiancé Charles Rooksberry of Terre Haute, IN: one son- Kevin C. Sibert, Jr. of Allendale: three sisters- Paula Ives, Cindy Goodart, and Amy Frey: three brothers- Brad Sibert, James Sibert, and Andrew Sibert: three grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held for Kevin C. Sibert, Sr. at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the St. Francisville Christian Church. Visitation will take place 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Oaklawn Cemetery in St. Francisville. Cunningham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
