Sanders pleads guilty in alcohol related double fatal

   The trial of a Gibson County woman accused in the deaths of two men resumed Friday. 25-year-old Ashley Sanders pleaded guilty in the case against her. She’s charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Causing Death.  She was driving north on US 41 in Gibson County on September 1st and tried to turn left and failed to slow down hitting the rear of a vehicle in front of her.  19-year-old Trevor Watt of Princeton and 20-year-old James Gasaway were both killed in the crash.  Both were wearing seatbelts.  Sanders suffered serious injuries.  Sanders will be sentenced January 30th in Gibson Superior Court. She could be sentenced from 4 to 24 years in jail.
