Connor McKinney scored a career high 27 points to lead the Red Hill Basketball Salukis to a 58-46 Little Illini Conference win Friday night over the Newton Eagles at Newton. The Salukis led 15-10 after one quarter, 31-22 at the half and 46-32 after three quarters to notch the victory. Drake Allen added 11 points and Drew Moore 10 for the squad which improves to 13-5 overall and 2-2 in LIC play. The Salukis continue a busy week with their third game in four days as they host the Fairfield Mules in non-conference play Saturday night in Bridgeport. The game can be heard on the Legend 99.3 FM and AM 910 with Ryan Seed and Rob McKinley around 7:30 or 8 p.m.
