Two people were arrested in connection with a police standoff in Greene County that started Wednesday night and ended early Thursday. Greene County Deputies went to a home at Marco to serve an arrest warrant on 54-year-old Jesse Wayne Stevens when he reportedly barricaded himself in his home. State Police officers were called to assist in the incident. Stevens was apprehended after being found hiding in a crawl space Thursday morning. Stevens was arrested on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence. He was on parole for the 1996 murder of his wife. He’s also charged now with Possession of Meth and Paraphernalia and Resisting Law Enforcement. A woman in the home, 50-year-old Michelle Sanders was also arrested for Possession.
