Nancy D. Wimberly, 77, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was born July 3, 1941 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Stella (Yarber) Condiff. She married Robert Wimberly in September 1957 and he preceded her in death on November 8, 2015.
Nancy was a homemaker. She attended the Free Methodist Church in Lawrenceville and the Bridgeport Wesleyan Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Robert; sister, Margie Walls; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wimberly; brother-in-law, Victor Volkman, Sr.; and grandson, Dustin ‘Dusty’ Wimberly.
Survivors include three sons, Terry Wimberly, Thomas Wimberly, and Michael Wimberly all of Lawrenceville, Illinois; brother, Chuck Condiff and wife, Patty Ann, of St. Francisville, Illinois; sister, Patty Volkman of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one granddaughter, Crystal Wimberly of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and one great-grandson, Mason Parrott of Lawrenceville, Illinois.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center & Wig Shoppe.
